Comoe National Park is in Côte d'Ivoire. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Comoe National Park is famous for its abundant and exotic plant life. There are hundreds of species of the most rare and fascinating plants that embellish the grounds of the park, which also showcases a few sections of a soothing rain forest and an almost hypnotically beautiful Comoe River. The park houses botanical wonders like the shrub savannas that are a hard to find genus, seen mostly in the southern region. Comoe National Park boasts of topography that facilitates rich biodiversity and abundant natural charm. It is at its best when the floodplains surrounding the River Comoe convert into seasonal make-shift grasslands that are frequented by a variety of beasts from the adjoining forests for feeding. Travelers flock here to catch rare snapshots of a hippopotamus or a stray African crocodile, apart from several varieties of rare migratory birds. The National Park also finds itself in the list of UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites in Danger due to intense poaching and lack of efficient management.
