Ciudad Acuña is a city in Coahuila, Mexico.

Understand[edit]

Old Mexico hands consider this to be one of the more pleasant and easier border crossing points along the entire Rio Grande. Has a couple really pleasant Tex-Mex restaurants.

Get in[edit]

By plane[edit]

By train[edit]

By car[edit]

By bus[edit]

By boat[edit]

By Bicycle[edit]

You may enter by bicycle much the same way as a car. Ride in the traffic and pay a $.75 two wheel fee to enter. Continue with traffic and the guards will guide you around. They might ask to look in bags or see your passport.

Heading back out is a little different. Where the cars stop to pay the fees, there is a small sidewalk to the right side. You will get on this sidewalk, put $.25 USD or peso equivalent in a post and an electric gate opens and you walk through. Continue with traffic and show your passport to the US guards.
