Chruszczobród (hroo-shtscho-brood) is a small village in Silesian Voivodeship.


Get in[edit]

Bus number 637 from Dąbrowa Górnicza/Siewierz use to stop in Chruszczobród. You can also get the village via Góra Chełm trail from Dąbrowa Górnicza's district Ujejsce.

  • Saint Stanislaus church . Late baroque church from 1742-48. There's a beautiful interior.
  • Cemetery. There're graves of January Uprising insurgent- Teofil Fidler and Kosciusko Uprising participant and general- Gabriel Taszycki.
  • Mitręga. Small river in beautiful landscapes

There're many bike and walk trails in Chruszczobród. You can walk on Mitręga river or rest on it but remember that swimming is forbidden there.
