Bieruń (Bye-roone) is a small city near Mysłowice in Silesian Voivodeship.

There're many buses from Mysłowice stopping in Bieruń.

  • center. A lovely city center with an old church
  • Kopiec. An artificial hill with a chapel
  • Jewish CemeteryA cemetery on Wita street. There're some graves from 17 century.
  • Saint Barbara church (Kościelna street 3). A contemporary church with Byzantine-style polychromies.
  • Sacred Heart church (Warszawska street 295) An interesting church from the beginning of 20 century.
  • Arboretum. A small arboretum on Bijasowicka street
  • Saint Valetine's Sanctuary. (Krakowska street 39). A tiny wooden church from 17 century. It's worth to visit it 14th of February
  • Dikes (Groble in Polish). A group of old dikes in beautiful scenery. They were founded by Janos IV Turzo, owner of these areas
  • Góra Chełmeczki. A hill covered by forest. There's also a small chapel.
  • chapels on Bojszowicka street. Small 19 century chapels located in the end of the street.
