Stay Safe[edit]

Berwyn is a mostly safe town, although parts of northeastern Berwyn especially north of Cermak Road can get iffy at night. Common sense will keep you safe.

If you decide that you must visit Berwyn, even to go to the historic Depot District, it might be wise to leave everyone alone while in Berwyn. Berwyn residents are generally very private people and like to be left alone.

Also, unlike in most other areas where leniency may be shown, it is illegal under Berwyn city law for adults to talk to teens and children they don't know.
