Benxi Shuidong National Park
Benxi Shuidong National Park (本溪水洞国家公园) is in Liaoning province.
The Benxi Water Caves are located 30km east of Benxi.
Benxi Shuidong was made a national park on January 10, 1994
Forest of stalagtites and stalagmites within a cavern system lit by colored lighting. A river 3,000 meters long, 2 meters deep and wide enough for 20-30 boats, is found flowing through a giant 5 million-year old cavern

Direct bus from Shenyang leaves in the morning and returns in the afternoon. Minibuses from Benxi leave regularly from Benxi train station.
From Benxi, take a bus or cab to Dongfen bus station (东芬客运站）and go through the security check inside. Bus fare to Shuidong is 元9,5 and takes about 40 minutes.
元85 plus 元5 for tram from ticket office to cave entrance. They offer a 元15 bus ticket from the ticket office to the entrance of the cave, but bear in mind that it's a ten minute walk with several signs leading you to the entrance.

At the entrance/exit of the park, negotiate with a cab driver to take you to Xiaoshi bus station (小市客运站）and from there take a direct bus to Dongfen station in Benxi town. Bus fare is 元10,5.
