The Railways operate a daily train at 6:45 am in the morning daily from Vishakapatnam Railway Station.
There are buses that operate from APSRTC that have a daily tour as well as normal operations
You can also hire a Taxi or car for as much as Rs 2500 for a round trip and a night stay at Araku.
Take a walk around the small town in the early morning while the fog is still there to catch the beauty of a hill station.
Greenary, Mountains, Sceneries, borra caves,Katiki Waterfalls,chaaparai etc The road that goes to katiki falls is really awesome and adventurous ( strictly no for sick person).
Go for a trek in Chompi and Madugula villages. These villages are very scenic, away from bustling noise of cities.
Visit Chaparai falls. It is 12 km from Araku, towards Paderu road. The water is not clean these days.
Visit Ananthagiri falls. After reaching the falls, you can walk down the falls where you can take bath in the falls.
Museum of Tribal Arts. and Way From Borra Caves to Araku Vally is many beautiful places to see like coffee plantation, gaalikonda view point cinema shooting point and beautiful ghat road.
Coffee Products only. it is only original thing to buy. Be care full to buy The Honey, Spices Etc. they will maybe fake. There are many shop in adibasi museum, you may want to buy wooden showpiece at reasonable price.
Stick Chicken is Famous in evening time of araku. Must eat bamboo chicken as this is a special item of Arakku Valley. There are many multi cuisine restaurants.
