Anne Arundel County
Anne Arundel County is one of 23 counties in the state of Maryland. It is part of the Baltimore metropolitan area, one of two counties bordering the city of Baltimore, and home to the state capital Annapolis. It is also the location of Baltimore Washington International Airport, Maryland's largest airport.
Several major highways run through Anne Arundel County. Including I-97, which runs from Baltimore to Annapolis, MD-295, also known as the Baltimore Washington Parkway, which runs between Baltimore and Washington, and US-50/301, which runs to the renowned Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
Anne Arundel County, being situated between several major cities, is home to multiple public transportation agencies.
Crime is relatively low in this suburban county where the quality of living is high. It is important to be careful in mall and shopping center parking lots and practice common sense.
