The administrative offices of this district are in Kampong Luong Village (ភូមិកំពង់ហ្លួង).
This district was a prominent civilization during the Chenla Era and thus contains ruins of Hindu temples throughout.
Several minivans run the route along NH2 from Phnom Penh's Daeum Kor Market (ផ្សារដើមគរ) to Kirivong District's Tonloap Market (ផ្សារទន្លាប់) just 8km north of the Vietnamese border. Take one of these minivans to the road to Phnom Chisor, GPS coordinates [11.1833N, 104.7818E], and then find transport heading into Angkor Borei
From Doun Keo, there are twice daily ferries going to Angkor Borei, or you can hire a private boat. Otherwise, you have to take a minivan to the road to Phnom Chisor above.
