Alicudi is one of the Aeolian Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the coast of Sicily, Italy.

It is the westernmost island of the Aeolian archipelago and like the others was formed by volcanic activity. Alicudi is a really "off the beaten path" destination, it has roughly 100 inhabitants which mainly live off fishing and agriculture. They are located on the eastern side of the island, the western side is uninhabited.
