:Wow, that was an awful lot of work. Thank you so much, Peter! I agree that there is no need for disabling anon editing on pt, our admins have been able to handle all spam and vandalism so far. --[[User:200.130.8.1|200.130.8.1]] 13:21, 24 June 2008 (EDT)

Thanks to Peter for his excellent work in assessing needs across language versions. I wanted to start discussing some of the decisions Peter mentioned in here.

  • Carmepla - moderate
  • Texugo - low

Carmepla looks like she keeps an eye on things, and overall activity is low. But given the last spam attack, IB disabled anon editing for this version—we might want to review that decision.

We can re-enable anon editing. I'd like to hear some more thoughts before we do.JuCo 14:55, 18 June 2008 (EDT)

  • Evan - inactive
  • Evan PRODROMOU - inactive

eo is dead. It suffered miserably under neglect, and there has been so much spam that it would be difficult to get rid of it all. We've disabled anonymous editing, and may need to simply remove the version altogether IMO.

I agree that removing the version may be the best bet for now. But I'd like to hear more thoughts. JuCo 14:55, 18 June 2008 (EDT)

Following the spam migration to :pt, IB disabled anon editing, but I think that's too harsh for this language version, as it has very good levels of administrative monitoring.

We've enabled anon editing again.JuCo 14:55, 18 June 2008 (EDT)
