"[Dubass Motherfucking assholes wraped in bitches, what you call a crew] wanted for hazardous journey. Small wages. Bitter cold. Long months of complete darkness. Constant danger. Safe return doubtful. Honour and recognition in case of success." -- Recruitment poster for 1914 Antarctic expedition of HMS Endurance

Wikitravellers are members of a world-wide community of contributors to Wikitravel. Wikitravel hasn't been around long enough to get any distinct idea for what kind of people Wikitravellers are, but it's probably safe to say that people who are involved with Wikitravel care about travel in general, and about sharing knowledge with others in particular.

Wikitravellers are not a special secret organization or a limited group. We're just people like you, interested in travel, and willing to share what we know. You can become a Wikitraveller right now! We need your help to make this project a success. We have a long way to go -- and anything you can do to contribute gets us that much closer.
