Welcome to Wikitravel! We, the Wikitravellers who've made it, hope that you enjoy what you see and that you join us in making a free, up-to-date, complete and reliable world-wide travel guide. You're free to use the articles in Wikitravel in almost any ways, thanks to our copyleft license.

To find information you're looking for, go to the Main Page and look through the categories listed there. Or, you can search Wikitravel using the Find box on your screen. Just type in the name of the place, site, topic, food, beverage, idea or equipment you're looking for, and you'll get a list of articles dealing with that place, site, topic, food, etc. If you can't find it, it means we might need a new article on it, and you should be the one to write it!

We need your help in creating, illustrating, and editing the travel guide. First, please look over the legal details in the copyleft page. Then, read up on how to edit a page, and try out your skills on the graffiti wall. Then, plunge forward into any article you think needs your help.

If you have any questions about Wikitravel, please read our FAQ first to see if it's already answered. If not, feel free to ask your question in the local pub, where friendly Wikitravellers will help guide your way.

We hope you enjoy Wikitravel, and we hope it's got the information you need. And most of all, we hope you share your knowledge with other travellers.
