The News Expedition is a Wikitravel Expedition to promote the creation of higher quality news on the Main Page and on Travel news.
Rationale
- Organic processes that result in high-quality articles do not always work with our news items; rather, the result tends to be uneven news coverage.
- High visibility of the news on the Main Page justifies a bit of extra attention
Goals
This expedition is under development; please update the goals as needed, or discuss on the talk page.
- Promote the creation of regularly-updated high-quality news items of worldwide interest.
