Once you are a registered as a Wikitraveller, you can tell a little about yourself so other contributors find it easier to communicate with you (and even ask for your help sometimes).

Wikitravellers can write:

  • where they live,
  • what languages they speak
  • what countries they have visited before;
  • how other contributors can contact them between their visits to Wikitravel--for example, to clarify their contributions (if they would like to be available for them).

or anything else they would like to say about themselves.

You can list yourself in Wikitravel:List of Wikitravellers by location.

If you have a good knowledge of a specific region, consider becoming a docent for that destination, so others can ask questions not covered in the article yet.
