Wola[1] is a district of Warsaw. The word wola means "willingness" in Polish. It has traditionally been the industrial district of Warsaw but this is now changing as it is rapidly becoming the commercial center of the city. Wola is further divided into Mirów, Nowolipki (adjacent to Muranów in Śródmieście), Powązki, Młynów, Czyste, Odolany, Ulrychów and Koło.

Enormously fascinating, The Warsaw Risng Museum is a moving experience that anyone to Warsaw must visit. This museum will almost certainly not bore anyone, especially with the museum's superb use of multimedia. The museum has bilingual displays in Polish and English. One particularly moving room is dedicated to the experience of children in the uprising. The room describes the experience of how children served and fought in the uprising. There's a film playing on large screen in the room with children singing songs about the uprising, which stirs all kind of emotions about why, how, and if it was moral, though no doubt beyond courageous for these children to serve the country. The film is basically about children's songs during the war with an adult host. At one point, the host tells the children "that children would attack Nazi German locations with songs on their lips, and these songs were the only thing to survive." The museum although specifically about the the Warsaw Urising of 1944 does a decent job of explaining the perceived history of the insurgents and the Uprising in the years following the Second World War. The museum takes an Anticommunist stance calling the communist government "occupants", a view most Poles share, and describes how communists arrested Uprising insurgents as "traitors" and attempted to turn the Polsih population against the Uprising and the insurgents using by misleading propaganda, rather than respect and honor the insurgents. After touring the hotel, go behind the building and you'll see a memorial wall. Reading the names is moving, and if you're looking for one name in particular there are directories to tell you the location of that person's name on the wall. There's an opening the wall and if you step through it you'll be taken to a rose garden with color photographs from the Warsaw Uprising era. The photographs are colored to give you a feel that you're connected with the events, something that black and white photographs sometimes fail to accomplish. If you go on Sunday, they have chapel services at 12:30PM. Regular: zł 4; Reduced rate: zł 2; Group ticket: zł 1. Free admission on Sundays.
