Welcome to Wikitravel. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.
Thank you for your contributions. However, I notice all your edits have been minor. Please uncheck the minor edit checkbox if you are adding content or changing meanings. Minor edits should be reserved for spelling mistakes, format and layout changes, links and the like, where the meaning of the article is not changed. -- Huttite 15:46, 27 Dec 2004 (EST)
Hi, you're doing a great job! Could you please label your uploaded images with copyright information (see Wikitravel:Image policy#Copyright). This helps us to ensure that all images on Wikitravel have been legally uploaded. You can just go to the image pages and hit 'edit' to add the information. Checkout Image:Mammoth Mountain.jpg for an example of how the copyright can be expressed if you took the picture yourself. -- Colin 22:54, 28 Dec 2004 (EST)
Before you create the article for Filiremos monastary, please ask yourself the question, How many accommodation places can a traveller choose between to stay there overnight? If you cannot answer and list a lot more than one then please read Wikitravel:What is an article?. -- Huttite 19:15, 31 Dec 2004 (EST)
Image usage in articles
Please have a look at Wikitravel:Image_policy#Minimal_use_of_images. While your enthusiasim for writing articles is greatly welcome, please try and confine yourself to one, (at most two), image per article. For example: Rhodes has 4 images, the second two, of donkeys and town of Lindos would be better in the Lindos article. -- Huttite 19:31, 31 Dec 2004 (EST)
