Welcome to Wikitravel. You can edit your preferences to change how the software works for you. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to our wiki software, MediaWiki, look at the Wiki markup to get an idea of how to edit a page. If you need help, check out the help desk, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.-- Andrew H. (Sapphire) 14:39, 1 December 2006 (EST)
Hi, Stephen. Welcome to Wikitravel, and thanks for all of your contributions on populations. I just wanted to mention that it's generally considered bad form to delete comments on your talk page. People usually archive discussions by creating subpages...see User_talk:Sapphire and User_talk:Evan for examples. -- Jonboy 20:50, 3 January 2007 (EST)
Ok, I didn't know. Was getting pretty long. Will archive in future. Stephen Atkins 17:42, 19 January 2007 (EST)
If you're still interested in adding climate info to Wikitravel I've deleted the template Evan told you about and created two new versions - Template:ClimateCelsius and Template:ClimateFahrenheit. -- Sapphire 02:19, 16 February 2007 (EST)
Thanks. I got very busy suddenly but would like to get to it after Easter break. Maybe we can divide the work?
