:Thanks, that's a true compliment. Actually, I'm a total newbie. Did some reading of the meta pages already, but don't have most of it ingrained yet. I just got here and the wiki idea totally made sense. While part of me is screaming to have a life :) I think it is part of my duty as a San Franciscan to encourage tourism and make sure visitors have the most interesting time possible.

I realized that you haven't been given an official welcome -- a grave oversight! You seem to be well-acquainted with the site, but I wanted make sure you feel welcome to Wikitravel. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.
