What is an article?
So as the grand champion defender of Wikitravel:What is an article? and inventor of the "can I sleep there" rule of thumb for deciding if an article topic is valid, can I get you to comment on Manzanar (See also Talk:Manzanar). I'm defintely pushing the bounds of "what is an article?" pretty hard. - Colin 18:32, 8 Oct 2004 (EDT)
Congratulations to you both! -- Colin 03:26, 19 Oct 2004 (EDT)
Hey, so I've uploaded a first draft in both vector and raster form. I've got the roads, parks, woods and rivers on there, but we still need to add a lot of stuff. Particularly if you could label some stuff that would be great. I guess Evan has a copy of sodipodi -- Mark 11:58, 28 Oct 2004 (EDT)
I think I misunderstood what I'm doing a bit. When we have a vfd for a page, is the talk page automatically up for deletion too? -- Colin 01:53, 30 Oct 2004 (EDT)
Thanks for your edits to Independence (California). Sometimes I have a tough time writing text and I appreciate the editing. I noticed you changed US 395 to US highway 395. I tried to initiate a discussion of this topic at Talk:United States of America#Road Nomenclature. Perhaps you could throw in a couple of comments?
I reverted out some IP user's alterations of your user page. -- Colin 20:30, 3 Nov 2004 (EST)
New admin nominees
So, I just nominated three new people for admin status. Since it takes the approval of two other admins to get one of these nominations approved, I'd appreciate it if you could drop in to Wikitravel:administrator nominations and show your support (or lack thereof). --Evan 17:16, 9 Nov 2004 (EST) P.S. Grease the pan.
Hi MAJ, I just wanted to extend a heartfelt thanks for your help in getting the site back up. I know that this must be costing you guys real CAD, so I'm super impressed that you are making the sacrifice. Let us know when we can share the burdon. -- Mark 23:48, 25 Nov 2004 (EST)
Hi Maj, I don't want to be as much of a pain in the arse as Veit sometimes manages to be, but I didn't find your contribution to the talkpage debate about which order (alphabetic or by size) is the more objective/practical/interesting very enlightning... --Valmi 00:01, 5 Dec 2004 (EST)
