Hello! Welcome to Wikitravel. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub. --188.8.131.52 13:49, 9 Aug 2004 (EDT)
Wow. You actually have a more restrictive copyright law in Denmark than the U.S. does in this one regard. Usually a photos of a public artwork are completely legit. Anyhow, I figured you were right so I executed the deletion, I just didn't quite understand how that could be. -- Mark 16:57, 17 Sep 2004 (EDT)
Single column Wikitravel style for your Yopy
I've put some time into coming up with a single column style primarily for your PDA. Would you mind giving it a look. Just go the the usual place and select "one-column" under Styles.
I used to have a Zaurus myself so I think I've got a clue as to what you're looking for (how wide is the Yopi screen?). It seemed to me that having the right column at all would be a waste on a PDA, so I've collapsed the nav into a menu bar at the top. Try increasing and decreasing the font size by the way. Oh yeah, as usual it's only meant for Mozilla/Firefox etc.
The single column of text and images will squeeze down to the width of the Mediawiki icon (about one word across). Unfortunately the menubar does cause a scrollbar to appear if you sqeeze the column down at all; I haven't yet found a solution for that.

A possible solution
So I think I've found a solution for problem of floating vs. fixed-width for the new skin. Check it out. I've added a toggle switch in the upper right corner. The default is still fixed-width, but the switch sets a 1-year cookie, and should be persistant across sessions so you should only have to ever click it once (until you switch stylesheets). -- Mark 00:41, 7 Oct 2005 (EDT)
