Thanks for your contributions. Since there seems to be some confusion about what content is appropriate for a region article you might want to look at Bali, which is a good example of how a region article can be filled out. Regarding your question on my user page:

what needs to be done with the Ireland page? you added the "needs attention" thing at the bottom.

Every Wikitravel article should have an article status, so I simply restored the status (with an upgrade to "usable"). See Wikitravel:Article status. For the guidelines on how the status of country articles is determined see Wikitravel:Country guide status. Achieving "guide" status for country articles is fairly difficult due to the requirement that all major city/region articles must be at least "usable", and to my knowledge Singapore is the only "star" level country article on Wikitravel. -- Ryan • (talk) • 13:35, 11 May 2011 (EDT)

Hi Eddi1. When I was taking a look at the Ballaghmore article you created, I've noticed that word by word copies of at least some of the text there exists on some other websites, too. Please take a look at this Google search result for example: [1]. Was this text written by you, or have you just copied it from somewhere? This is important, as that might be a violation of our copyleft license. – Vidimian 05:23, 13 May 2011 (EDT)

Yeah, but we still need to attribute the creators of the original text over there. That involves using some (IMHO) rather ugly-looking tags on Wikitravel pages, so I'd rather the text be re-written for Wikitravel. However, that's just my preference, and if you prefer to keep the descriptions as how they stand now, just putting Template:Wikipedia at the end of the page to keep it legal is okay, too. – Vidimian 12:16, 16 May 2011 (EDT)
