Hello! Welcome to Wikitravel. You can edit your preferences to change how the software works for you. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to our wiki software, MediaWiki, look at the Wiki markup to get an idea of how to edit a page. If you need help, check out the help desk, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

I'm glad you volunteered to be the liaison (ĉu ligulo?) for eo:. I think we're ready to get started there (see ), so: please create an account on that wiki (you can also try eo:Speciala:OpenIDLogin, which lets you use your en: account to log in). When you've got an account, let me know, and I'll add you as an administrator on the eo: wiki.

I think the big thing now is to make an announcement on en: and shared: about eo: launching, and to start making some travel guides! We'll probably need to translate some help and policy texts; see Wikitravel:How to start a new language version. --Evan 23:11, 6 October 2006 (EDT)
