Hi! I was honestly amazed and in some ways insulted by Evan's reaction to the referendum issue. I've told this to him at [[Wikitravel talk:Article naming conventions]]. It really is a strange reaction... but what to do? If he continues with his own way, what should we do? I've decided to stop contributing to Wikitravel until the issue is solved. I saw what you wrote on his talk page... I think that regardless of whether people voted YES or NO in the poll, it was a very constructive, fair debate that tackled so many issues. It would be a shame to have those go down the drain when he didn't even participate in the whole discussion. [[User:Ronline|Ronline]] 02:49, 14 May 2004 (EDT)

Lots of work

I don't know whether to congratulate or commiserate on your workload for the new year. B-) Glad you'll have time to work on Wikitravel, too. --Evan 01:07, 9 Jan 2004 (EST)

phma for admin

So, I nominated phma for admin status. If you think it's a good idea, please throw your weight behind it on the administrator nominations page. --Evan 22:02, 10 Jan 2004 (EST)

Buy or rent a car yadda yadda

So, I reverted Talk:Buying or renting a car in Australia to its pre-blank version. I assumed blanking it was a mistake. Feel free to clear it out again if you see the need, though. --Evan 15:54, 3 Feb 2004 (EST)

Wechselbot

I proposed a script called Wechselbot. What do you think? -phma 22:04, 22 Feb 2004 (EST)

Wow

You're on a msg-making rampage! Thanks for all the good work! --Evan 01:43, 7 Mar 2004 (EST)

Please send me e-mail

Could you please send me email using the "Email this user" feature? I have something I'd like to talk to you about privately (nothing major!). --Evan 12:50, 8 Mar 2004 (EST)

Well

That seems to have worked OK, eh? --Evan 16:33, 8 Mar 2004 (EST)

OK, I updated the user privileges for Akubra. I disabled sysop mode for Dhum Dhum, though: I don't think it's a good idea to have admin status on unused accounts. You may need to log out and log back in. Let me know if it works. --Evan 17:48, 8 Mar 2004 (EST)

Australasia

No-one has responded yet to my comments of 11 Mar at Talk:Australasia but you've done some work on Australasia recently so maybe you can help. The question really is 'what is Australasia?' Is it just Aust, NZ, PNG, eastern parts of Indonesia, Vanuatu, Solomon Is and New Caledonia? Or does it include all of Oceania? At present the intro paragraph indicates one. The list of countries indicates the other. Nurg 01:43, 22 Mar 2004 (EST)

Administrator Nomination

Thank you for your administrator nomination, though, respectfully, I feel I must decline your kind offer at this time. - Huttite 05:51, 25 Mar 2004 (EST)
