Here I am in La Paz, Mexico grinning unabashedly over a surprisingly successful culinary triumph, but I live most of the year in Pittsburgh, PA, USA.
I am about 67 years old in this photo taken in 2001. I am a forty plus-year resident of Pittsburgh. Before that I was born and raised in the then small city of Naperville, Illinois, west of Chicago. Now I'm retired after pursuing a checkered set of careers that included structural engineering, software design, and various business ventures.
