Eindhoven is dominated by industrial development as the city's history is inextricably linked to electronics giant Philips, and to a lesser degree, DAF. Although those industries have mostly disappeared, they have left the city a rich industrial heritage and a lot of museums. In addition, over the past decade the city has become the so-called capital of Dutch design. (more...)

Hi, I'm David. I discovered WikiTravel in late May 2006.

I work mainly on the New England region... but find myself easily distracted to far off locales.

Many of my vacations have been spent cruising, usually to the Caribbean or Central America. I've also been to California, Florida, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii. I think my favorite vacation was to San Francisco, Napa Valley, Yosemite and Monterey/Carmel over a couple weeks. I'd go back to any of those four locations again. Bryce Canyon is fabulous. See it.

Docent

I am a docent for Massachusetts. Please contact me by email with any questions by using the "E-mail this user" link to the left in the toolbox. Include "Wikitravel" in the subject line.
