Understand

Twain Harte was founded in the early 20th century and was named after Mark Twain and Bret Harte. It is a very small village that has less than 3,000 residents. Summers are cool while winters are very rigid because the snow level is very high (3 to 6 feet). Becauce of this it can be very difficult to get around due to slippery roads.
