Trujillo and Extremadura are home to wonderful foods and delicacies. It's worth noting the iberico ham where black iberian pigs feed on acorns and create delicious and delicate ham.

Trujillo is also home to the National Spanish Cheese Festival where there are hundreds of cheese available in beautiful markets. You may be interested in the extremeño cheeses such as Torta del Casar, Torta de la Serena and Los Ibores goat's cheese.
