Trois-Rivières (historically and rarely Three Rivers, ) is the second-oldest city in Quebec, founded in 1634. It lies almost half-way between Montreal and Quebec City and can make a nice stopover on travel between those two cities.
Route 40 between Quebec and Montreal passes straight through Trois-Rivières.
You can can and watch a very beautiful houses and river
The main (arguably only) sight in Trois-Rivières is the old city (vieux-ville), concentrated by the river along rue des Ursulines. It's far smaller than those of Montreal or Quebec, but picturesque in a low-key way and worth a stroll.
