Eastern Tokyo covers the six eastern Tokyo wards of Adachi (足立), Katsushika (葛飾), Edogawa (江戸川), Sumida (墨田), Kōtō (江東) and Arakawa (荒川).

Eastern Tokyo is largely residential and industrial, with few tourist attractions of note. Most noteworthy sights are concentrated in Ryogoku, which has its own article.
