Get around

Tamworth castle is just outside the town centre and well worth a visit

If you are into ten pin bowling the Strikers Bowl just on the edge of the town centre is the place to be seen for some indoor skiing then check out the Snow Dome next to Strikers Bowl.

Tamworth has a few good restaurants in the Town Centre such as Pastiche Bistro in Silver Street, they serve good international food, and most of the pubs in town also serve good food.

Tamworth has many pubs in and around the town centre, some of the best ones are Chicago Rock in Coleshill Street, O'Keefs in George Street, and Weather Spoons in Lower Gungate is best for cheap drinks.

Stay safe

As with the rest of the UK, in any emergency call 999 or 112 (from a land-line if you can) and ask for Ambulance, Fire or Police when connected.
