: Having lived in Valdosta for way longer than I would like, it's really more of the former.  Tho in the past there were some good stand out independant locations, I really don't know how many are still around.  I suppose next time I am up there (Late January) I can look around and see if I can add anything to this article.  But Valdosta really tends to just be a sleep over city for folks travelling south on I-75 into Florida.

No eateries?[edit]

You've got to be kidding. Of all the best places to eat in Valdosta, 7 of them are chain restaurants?! (Sonny's, Red Lobster, Applebees', Hooter's, Cracker Barrel, IHOP, and Outback)

Having lived in Valdosta for way longer than I would like, it's really more of the former. Tho in the past there were some good stand out independant locations, I really don't know how many are still around. I suppose next time I am up there (Late January) I can look around and see if I can add anything to this article. But Valdosta really tends to just be a sleep over city for folks travelling south on I-75 into Florida.
