Merge content from Charlotte Amalie[edit]

As discussed on the old Charlotte Amalie article, there really isn't enough to separate it from St. Thomas in general, so it was agreed to merge that article in here.

Please consider carefully before creating any sub-articles for places in St. Thomas. It just forces readers to visit more pages to get the same information. --BigPeteB 11:52, 2 April 2011 (EDT)

Too much detail on customs?[edit]

The Buy section of this article is quite long. There's probably some good info there, but it's hard to find with so much text. I think trimming it will help. Any thoughts?

Also, the stuff about Customs is a) U.S.-citizen specific, b) applies to all of the VI, not just St. Thomas, and c) probably better as a brief summary and a link to a web site. Unless someone has a compelling reason for keeping so much detail, I'll probably move it to the VI article and trim it heavily. --BigPeteB 12:16, 9 April 2012 (EDT)

Agree with BigPeteB, and will migrate much content I supplied to the U.S. Virgin Islands article and create links to it in St. Thomas article. Suggest the former also needs more info about all the major islands. Am unqualified to supply much detail. Hennejohn 21:53, 15 April 2012 (EDT)
