I was directed to this site but I noticed that Amelita's Spanish Cuban Cafe was not mentioned in the great places to eat great Cuban Sandwiches. I grew up in Ybor City back in the 50s & 60s and I have patterned my restaurant after the small Cafes of that era. Nothing fancy, just a large portion of great tasting food, a friendly atmosphere, and moderately priced so as not to kill the working man. During these economic times a wise man looks for the best value for his hard earned dollar.
