I think the world's most popular resort destination ought to be listed under Other Destinations.  I would suggest it replace one of the two Mayan archeological sites, although Corcovado National Park or Viñales might be candidates as well.  LtPowers 15:36, 28 June 2010 (EDT)

:Ek. eww  :)  Already heavy on US destinations.... and I would hate to think that's really one of the top 9 highlights of the ginormous continent of North America.... but maybe that's just me  :) &ndash; <font color="green">cacahuate</font>  <small><font color="blue">talk</font></small> 21:19, 28 June 2010 (EDT)

Moved Belize to Central America. It is listed that way on the main country page. Not sure why it was under Caribbean -Huckabmm 11:56, 8 August 2008 (EDT)

Is there a reason Bermuda is not listed here? I can't imagine why not... JB

Central America is frequently seen as part of the North American continent. Any objections if I include those countries here? D.D. 11:47, 19 Aug 2003 (PDT)

Am I the only person who has never heard of Panama City, Florida? Is this really a popular destination for North America as a whole? Nicksand 16:30, 9 Feb 2004 (EST)

No. --Evan 16:38, 9 Feb 2004 (EST)
Yes. It's a very popular spring break place, on the level of south padre island. Jordanmills 20:37, 23 April 2006 (EDT)

Hello. I have two weeks freetime and i want to visit Mexico country for holidays. Would you recommend me good places and hotels;;Really thank you.. they should add the flag

Central America and Caribbean

Why are the countries of these two regions listed here, when they are also listed as separate continents (regions) on the front page? Sertmann 13:43, 4 October 2008 (EDT)

It seems pretty clear that Central America and the Caribbean are part of North America, which is why they are listed on this page - if we left Mexico or Cuba out of North America that would seem fairly odd. I can't answer why those two regions are listed separately on the Main Page, although I suspect it's just always been that way and no one either felt a need to change it. -- Ryan • (talk) • 16:06, 4 October 2008 (EDT)
I like them on front page, they are in a sorta grey area where yes, they are part of NA, but also thought of as their own entities, and I think we're putting the traveler first by giving them quick access to those regions on the main page – cacahuate talk 17:15, 4 October 2008 (EDT)
I agree with Sertmann here, as now the list is awfully long and hard to navigate. The map doesn't show the countries, so I think it'd be best to have a list like this:

Regions

Territories

I support that proposal. --Peter Talk 15:10, 7 September 2009 (EDT)

Other Destinations

I think the world's most popular resort destination ought to be listed under Other Destinations. I would suggest it replace one of the two Mayan archeological sites, although Corcovado National Park or Viñales might be candidates as well. LtPowers 15:36, 28 June 2010 (EDT)
