Comments[edit]

Hi, just pointing out that the photos seem to have got the different sides mixed up. eg, "Iguaçu falls (Devil's Throat) from the Brazilian side" - this is actually from the Argentinian side. I should know since I have almost identical photos from the Argentinian side of the falls. The first image on the page is also, I believe from the wrong side. That is a classic Brazilian view of the falls. As my tour guide said, "Argentina has the experience, Brazil has the beauty" --60.229.144.166 06:36, 22 January 2007 (EST)

The first one is most definitely a view from argentina, I have that exact picture (little skinny tree included). also is there anyway we can include a map of the falls? it might help people if the knew the layout of the park (argentina side) and where brazil and paraguay are located in relation to the falls.

--- In the Argentinia part is the Bus from Foz do Iguaçu mentioned. But if I get it right its a Brasilien City. So its a bit confusing.

Merging into the National Park article[edit]

Tsandell has put a notice on this page suggesting that it is merged into the national park article. I disagree becuase the falls themselves are far more visited and referred to than the national park itself, as well as being in 2 countries. -- DanielC 08:48, 5 July 2007 (EDT)

Agree with DanielC. --Ricardo (Rmx) 19:16, 5 July 2007 (EDT)
How would you suggest we handle the overlap/duplication between the two articles? -Todd VerBeek 19:34, 5 July 2007 (EDT)
From the falls article we could put a note that "For infomration on the wider NP see ...article". In the NP article we could put "The Falls themsleves are covered in ... article". -- DanielC 08:51, 6 July 2007 (EDT)

Separating the cities from the park(s)[edit]

I think it is not very convenient to have the information on three cities and the falls (ciudad del este, foz de iguacu and puerto iguacu) all put into one entry. I propose that every city should receive its own article and the waterfalls article concentrate on what is actually there at the falls and just refering to the entries for the cities for accommodation and other touristy things.

Current info[edit]

Just to note that all the info in this article is very helpful but prices have gone up (November 2011) Bus from the airport to Centro is now Br 2.65. Taxis also seem to be more expensive, certainly more so than in Rio. Entry fee to the Brazilian side is Br 76 and Ar 100 on the Argentinian side.

The bus system is very simple and inexpensive. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 187.59.47.252 (talkcontribs)
