Sutton is a village in the Eastern Townships located in the south-east of Quebec.
Sutton is located on Route 139 about 90 minutes south-east of Montreal via Highway 10, or 80 minutes north of Burlington, Vermont via Interstate 89. Connex (1 877 348 5599) provides a 110 minute bus service to and from Montreal which runs twice a day, dropping off passengers at the gas station in the center of the village.

Start by visiting the Tourist Information Office at 24a rue Principale Sud. Their staff are very knowledgable and helpful. Pick up a leaflet for a self-guided walking tour which highlights historical buildings.

Rue Principal, the main road running through Sutton's center, is lined with shops of all kinds, including clothing stores, art stores, restaurants, and souvenir shops.
For a small village there is an excellent selection of restaurants and foodie outlets all located on Main Street. Food tends to be of a high quality and reasonably priced.
More formal dining:
In the village there are two bars - The Lounge St-Patrick with a d.j. on weekends, contests and après ski snack food, and Ron's bar is more cozy with a nice atmosphere. In addition many of the restaurants also have bars where you can have a drink without eating.

While in town you can access the internet at the local internet café, Net Connect. Open 6 days a week from 11:00 to 5:30, with very reasonable rates. Wifi service is also available.
