This wonderful mountain resort community is tucked away in a beautiful little valley in the Central Idaho Rockies where the Boulder, Sawtooth and Pioneer mountain ranges meet. The Sun Valley/Ketchum area is internationally famous for its world-class summer and winter recreation and cultural attractions and it is full of charming yet sophisticated shops, restaurants, galleries, theatres, and attractions. This is an intersection of rustic elegance--elk are in your backyard as you drive out to make it to this month's gallery walk, where internationaly recognized contemporary artists are available and drinking wine at the opening.

Although outdoor recreation plays a large role in the Sun Valley mantra, you'll find that the natural beauty and excellence surrounding Sun Valley has influenced everything here; the dining, the art scene, the culture, and shopping. Take an evening sleigh ride through the woods to a gourmet dinner at Trail Creek cabin or enjoy a stroll on the legendary gallery walk evenings. Year round you'll find there is a variety of memorable things to do in Sun Valley/Ketchum.
