Capital of Alsace, Strasbourg is mostly known for hosting european institutions. However, it is also a very nice place to visit, especially for its old town. The city itself is one of the 9 biggest cities in France, gathering about 450,000 people, counting the surroundings. Part of the connurbation is located on the eastern bank of the Rhine, in Germany.

The train station is located in the western town center, connected with the tramway, with buses and many taxis waiting outside (leftside when you're in front of the station).
