Sierpe is a city in Costa Rica.
Sierpe is a little town located close to the national park Corcovado. It is a very small town with only a few inhabitants. Though there are some nice little bed and breakfasts to stay in. There is one large restaurant in the village which also is host to a mayority of locals. This cozy restaurant/bar has also got a souveniersshop.
Everything in this town is right next to a river which is influenced by the sea.
Walk amound Sierpe and you will see some of the local children play a game of soccer. You will eventually see some scarlet macaws flying over.
Hire a watertaxi and ride over the river from Sierpe to Corcovado national park. You will go from the river mouth into the sea. You will pas some manggroves on the way to the park. Depending on your budget you can choose from two different starting points where the boats will stop. Be prepared to get your feet wet.
There is just one local restaurant close to the central park of Sierpe.
At the central park of Sierpe there will be a busstop but the times are not arranged on a schedule. Instead just ask the locals when the bus is departing and make sure your on time cause it might be possible that the bus might only arrive and depart once per day.
