The STCS wich is local transportation by bus offers either a one trip 'Jeton' that you have to buy at a tabagie or authorized dealers at 2.85$ that gives you one trip with all the transfers necessarie Also o more economical way to get from one place to the other is buying a day pass at 8$ that either gives the right for one or two adults with children (12yers old or less) for a maximum of 6 passenger on one pass or one adult alone Service for the bus ends at midnight if you need to get around after that I would recommend a taxi it is not to expensive about 30$ for one end to the other of the city but if you need one at night chances are your in downtown the from the to the furthest hotel it would cost you 15$ the phone number is 819-562-4717 also if you have a cell phone anywhere in quebec try *taxi they will patch you in the taxi service of your region cost locally is 99 cents
For sure this restaurant is not real quebecois affair but my favorite place and I live here to eat and not to expensive is Choux de Bruxelle where you can have Moule et frite at less than 20$ and you bring your own wine It is recognized by Sherbrookois to be the best value for your money and great food You will need to make reservation in advance if you want to eat there during the weekend and during the month of november and december as many xmass party are celebrated there. Phone number is +1-819-564-1848 They do not have a webpage as they dont need it.
