SeeThe Artist Village has a gallery showing every first Saturday of the month. Organic foods are available every first Wednesday of the month at the farmers market. Original Mikes is a local favorite with live entertainment almost every night. The old Town Hall is now open as a museum for the city, registration may be required. In addition, 4th Street in Santa Ana is a street popular with locals. It has many small buisnesses and a small theater. The street is located about one block from the Old Courthouse, a still operating legal centre and museum. DoGo to MainPlace Mall. It is located near the boarder with Orange. It is an alternative to 4th Street. Across the street is Barnes and Noble and across from there is Santiago Park, the best park in the city. It has a beautiful bike path and a lot of squirels. BuyStuff on 4th Street or at MainPlace Mall. There are other marketplaces but these two are the best. Also, visit the Martinez Bookstore on Main Street. It is attached to the Orange County high School of the Arts. It has books in both English and Spanish and is run by a very kind man. EatTaco Adobe on 1319 N Main St is a Southwest Mexican restaurant. The food is excellent and the staff is always friendly. Parking is located infront of the restaurant. The Gypsy Den, located in the Artist Village, is very popular, especially with the youth.
