Roslagen is the coastal region of the Uppland province in Sweden. Not a formal region, it is usually considered to contain the municipalities of Vaxholm, Österåker, Norrtälje and Öregrund. As the Stockholm Archipelago, including Vaxholm, has an article on its own, this article focuses on the mainland.

Norrtälje is the capital of Roslagen.
Kapellskär is not much more than a ferry station.
Öregrund and Östhammar are twin towns in the north.
Gräsö is a calm island.
From Stockholm by bus from Tekniska Högskolan.
Public transport is scarce, but you get wherever you want with a car. A no-cost car ferry operates between Östhammar and Gräsö.
