Rassay [1] is an island of the coast of Skye in the Inner Hebrides on the West coast of Scotland.


The island is about 14 miles by 5 miles wide, and is home to around 200 people.

Get in

By ferry

A Calmac [2] car ferry operates from Sconser on Skye to Inverarish on Raasay. In summer there are 9 nine sailings per day Mon-Sat (first 08.25, last 18.45) and two on Sundays.

At Sconser there are connections with Citylink buses to Glasgow and Inverness, and local services to Broadford and Portree.
