Pak Lay

Pak Lay is a city in North West Laos.


First quiet so called town in Laos after crossing the Thai-Lao boarder at Nam Hueng.

Get in[edit]

There are two bus stations in town. South: Vientiane 90.000 Kip, Nam Hueng 35.000 Kip North: Sayabouly and Luang Prabang

Get around[edit]

Just explore the town by foot or take tuk-tuk from the bus stations to center.



A small market is located in the center next to the football playground. BCEL Bank has an ATM and accepts international cards.

Some places are close to Mekong river with overlooking views.
