Oyndarfjørður is a village in Eysturoy, Faroe Islands

Bus By car from Streymoy, take the long tunnel under Eysturoy and then the road north to Gjogv, the turning for Oyndarfjøðrur is signed, a beautiful drive past hanging valleys.

  • Rocking Stones in the sea, signed footpath near road junction just before the village. of geological interest but visually a bit underwhelming.
  • Numerous hanging valleays on the route in.
