Some of the best riding in the Pacific NW.

Have you known about quite a few riding areas in Oregon, but just have never had the time to actualy go and check them out. Here is your chance to find out what kind of riding is out there with out actualy going riding. Maybe you don't want to go to a new place because you don't want to waist the time just incase you dont like it. Here is a list of places and what type of riding is there. Please feel free to add your own additions to this page.

  • 1. Tillamook OHV Trail- State Forest
If you are looking for some long trails and lots of them, then this is the place. The trails are in the Tillamook state forest, and consist of riding levels from beginner all the way up to expert. Some of the trails are very technical and slow, while some are very fast and heart pounding.
  • 2. Sand Lake.
Sand lake is a small riding area north of Tillmook. It is on the lacking side for dirt bikes due to the small area and lack of challenging riding. However if you want to have a nice relaxing weekend with alot of people, just show up on a long weekend.
  • 3. Shotgun OHV Area
This place I was not inpressed with. There were way to many ruts for dirt bikes. Nearly everytrail was nothing but ruts, forcing everybody to go much to slow. Would be a fun area, but just needs some grooming.
  • 4. Johns Peak
This is my favorite riding area. It has everything from hard fast trails to slow kid trails. The best part is that it doesnt get muddy during the winter. It is all on sandy loam and the water just sinks through. Making it a relatively clean fun ride during the winter. Als has some of the best hillclimbs I have seen in Oregon.

Please feel free to add stuff. I will add stuff as I find the time, and as I ride in new areas.
