Monju (2800m) is a village in Khumbu.

Understand

The Sagarmatha National Park entrance is just outside the village. Here, travelers are required to show their passports and pay a 1,000rps entrance fee.

A 5 hour walk from Lukla - mostly either downhill or flat, but there a short but steep climb before entering the village.
