Omni is a district in Downtown Miami, immediately north of the Central Business District. It is sometimes known as the Media and Entertainment District for its rich cultural life. Omni is primarily known as a residential neighborhood with some of Miami's best shopping and entertainment.

Get in[edit]

Omni is served by the "Omni Loop" of the Metromover [1], a free light rail service. The Omni Loop connects to the two other "loops", the Inner Loop (Downtown) and the Brickell Loop, at several downtown stations. It connects to the Miami Metrorail at the Government Center station Downtown. From there, you can take the Orange or Green lines to locations throughout Miami-Dade County, including the Miami International Airport.

Some dozen Metrobus routes serve Omni, connecting the neighborhood to Downtown Miami, Miami Beach, the airport, and other locations to the north and south.

To reach Omni by car, simply take I-95 and exit at I-395 (the Dolphin Expressway) east. Omni can also be reached by US Highway 1, and is a fairly short walking distance from Downtown.
