Travel Warning WARNING: Traffic along State Route 140, one of the main routes into Yosemite from the west, is restricted due to a significant rockslide. The road is still open. A detour has been constructed around the rockslide with one lane of traffic. Delays of up to 15 minutes may be expected. Vehicles over 28 feet long are currently prohibited in the Merced River Canyon (between Midpines and Savage's Trading Post in El Portal) due to sharp corners at the detour. Alternative routes of Highway 120 from the northwest or Highway 41 from the south, both accessed from Highway 49 in Mariposa are availible
